turnsignal lamps

i was fortunate to come across some of the flush with the body style turnsignal lamps new in box, and are they compatible with the later model 02's? i was wondering if i could rig them up on my 74.

As far as I know they are compatible. It is just a simple thin wire that attaches to the back of the light...

No! Not compatible to '74's! Abject pandemonium will result! Sell them to me and save yourself now!

... Okay, maybe they will work. They are set up for single element bulbs though, so if u want to retain the use of your parking lights u need to adapt the sockets. Apparently tap-a-lites from u-haul are the easy method.

Does someone have an example of the early model lights and the older lights? I got some off BLUNT, but thinking back to when I dismantled my car, I think the backings on them ar different... It was a while since I looked at both!
