I worked for Griot's both friday and saturday so almost all of my pics are from the group with the 02's in it. there was a good showing of about 4 or 5 02's(capp played hookie this time). There was an 02 I hadnt ever seen and damn was he fast. Flannigan i think was the racers name but i never found his car is the pits. He was faster than all the 911'S and was catching the open wheel lotus. He ran some 1:39's while the next fastest o2 was in the high 1:48's. He had to be producing a lot of hp. i didnt take any car coral pics but there were 3 excellent condition opel gt's, along with a Renault R5 turbo 2(favorite car of all time) that was for sale. 35 k original miles and he only wanted 21.5 for it.

I had an 02 in our griot's tent both days. My car on friday and the tii today. I met more people today who drove an 02, had an 02 or have always wanted an 02 than ever before. And we even had a 06 lotus elise parked next to the 02.

Sweet pics... the Lotus on the Groits stand with your 02 is all spotty though for some reason on my screen... do you use photoshop to resize your images.

Aret the Datsun roadsters 1600s or 2000s? Is Pacific Raceway the Kent circuit? The Lola T70 is one of my favorites, being the THX 1138 mobile too. I'd rather have the R5T2 too, over a 2002 Turbo or the ASQ, and it's cheaper too. I did shoot the Alpine factory in Dieppe including the production line of R5T2s, R5 Alpine Turbos and A310s, and the rest of the place including the offices and parking-lots! I'll dig those pics out of their squirrel-hole in the near future. You might have seen these . . .

I'm a huge fan of the Renault... Love the Alpine, a local radio personality in Vctoria has a Renault Alpine that I first saw when I was a kid in left hand drive and I have been captivated by the model since!!
