I thought I was going home with an '85 2.5L with 100K.

The next morning I noticed the 2.7eta on the head.

Must've had my beer goggles on!

From an '85 325e, this m20 is a smooth, low reving 2.7L.

35Mpg Highway and 150 HP when chipped!

Not the project I was planning on, but now I'm excited!

This one calls for square bumpers/lights & A/C.

Very, very nice. Otis' younger brother, Klaus, is an '84 E-30 eta, which I bought on June 20, 1984, in Brunswick, Georgia (happy birthday, Klaus). Klaus is still running very strong after all these years; only very minor mods (performance chip, high-output alternator); otherwise, I've left the engine alone because it's been absolutely trouble free for 22 years (knock on wood). Great engine -- have fun!
