That's the ultra-rare slide throttle. Not recommended for street use, as the trottle is known to sometimes sticks on WOT, which is not good......

And they're supposed to be rubbish at part throttle and won't idle at anything sensible for a road car. They look the dogs though!

I had the exact same slide throttle, injectors and pump on my 2002 when I bought it. It came with a motor from a Renmax open wheeler.

It actually worked quite well, but needed more modification to the "pear" shaped mechanism in the pump to give more fuelling at the top end. I was able to make it rich enough in the low and midrange by resetting the starting position for the throttle on the pump.

I could not see how it could ever stick open. I sold the complete set up to the guy that had bought the Renmax maybe 15 years after my car got its' motor, so he could bring it back to the original spec. I sold it for a seventh of what this Ebay person is asking. Sounds like I ripped myself off, but then he hasn't got a bidder yet either!!! I was happy for the Renmax owner to get his car back to original.

If you look at the underside of the slide throttle you will see a massive return spring, it is needed because the rollers in the slide (can't remember how many there are about 12 top and bottom) tend to stick on the bearing surface, later models had a teflon bearing surface.

Yes, whatever you sold it for it was cheap.
