The blinkers on my Turbo Quit working, but my hazard warning lights work.Is there a seperate flasher for just the blinkers?I checked and there are no fuses for the blinkers. The green light works when the flashers are on,but nothing blinks or lights up when you just put on the blinkers. If there is a seperate flasher for the blinkers, where and what color is it.I located the one for the hazard.Any help appreciated

1) when you engage your 4 ways, are all four lights flashing (5 with the inside one)? If not, clean sockets, see to grounds (esp front lights, whcih ground thru the mounting screws)

2) Unclip the flasher box from the car body and let it dangle by its wires; remove cover, then turn on ign and turn signals. Observe the two little relay point sets inside. If they're trying to move but not making contact, clean the points, and if necessary bend the points until they close reliably. If they're not moving at all, make sure the box is getting power. You'll have to check a wiring diagram to see which lead is the hot one, but IIRC it comes from a terminal on the 4 way flasher switch.

Thanks for the input. All 5 lights work with the flashers. When you put the blinkers on,nothing works, includind the indicator on the dash. Can the hazard relay be bad and maybe has to parts, one for the hazard lights, with work and another part for the blinkers, which don't.

...That's the one piece that is used for the turn signals but not the flashers. Make sure it's getting current and sending out current when you flick the switch.

use the same flasher box, and the turn signal lever is in fact the only part that isn't common to the two systems. And the 72 and 73 cars have the wiper switch as part of the turn signal switch, and that can cause problems. Do the wipers work? If not, then the wiring harness plug has come loose from the switch. Otherwise, I'd check the switch for continuity.

First, the turn signals get power through a different fuse than the hazard lights. Unless Turbo wiring is different from a 2002, the hazard lights are on Fuse 2, and the turn signals are on Fuse 6. Also on Fuse 6 are the horn and backup lights, so check that those work (with the key in the Ignition position).

Second, the hazard light switch can go bad in a way that causes your symptoms. If the push-on, push-off detent thingie wears, the switch can stop in a spot that is not exactly 'off'. To check, turn on the key and the turn signals. Move the hazard switch button very slowly through its full range of travel, watching for a place near the off position where the turn signals work. If you find such a place, you need to replace or repair the hazard switch.

I got it fixed.I had removed the center console and when I put it back,a wire came out of the 6 prong plug that plugs into the hazard flasher switch. That all it was. Thanks for all the input.
