I purchased a wood steering wheel last year and got around to putting it in and discovered a problem. The button does not work because it cannot complete a ground. It isn't a NARDI wheel so I do not know where to replace it. Any suggestions on fixing or replacing the button?

My P.O. actually replaced my horn button and relocated it to the side of the steering wheel column. I have a factory steering wheel and I'm guessing the buttons didn't work or could be saved, so he just put a little shiny button on the right side of the column. Just rewired it there so yee, even though by the time I find it on the side there to use it, the opportunity is gone but just to let you know, it can be done!

Hopefully my pic kind of helps. I can take more if you need me to.

Thanks. I didn't want to do that. I have a 320is steering wheel with a button that works fine, I like the wooden one and want to use the button on it when the need/desire presents itself.

buttons are either Lucas or close enough so you can fix one with Lucas parts. If we can see what it looks like, we may be able to suggest repairs. I've fixed several Lucas style horn buttons for both my Sprite and my Personal wheel mounted on my '02.
