I am thinking of replaceing the steering wheel on my '75. Any opinions on the quality of Nardi vs Luisi wood wheels.

Thanks,

Frank

I just bought a mahogany Nardi with a Luisi hub kit....drop dead gorgeous wheel. 360mm. They don't come any better! I plan to install it tomorrow on Hugo.

The Nardi wheel will dig into your thumb and its "webbing" if you use 3 and 9 driving position. The steel spokes are THIN and are not as comfortable as the leather covered Momo spokes at those positions. Just something to consider. I bought my Nardi without driving with that wheel beforehand. Too late to discover the ergonomic problem. Aside from that aspect of the Nardi, the wheel , hub, horn button, and spacer were all top grade looks and materials. Good luck with your choice. Recommend you drive a 2002 with the wheel you want to buy, before the purchase, if possible.

Funny, I drive most cars at 9 and 3 or 10 and 2. For some reason I seem to drive o2's at 7 and 5.

Then again, it's been a while since i drove one. Thanks Paul.
