Any link to Steve's runs?

Todd

Daniel will be posting that one soon. I'll have the in car video up hopefully later today. You'll get to see twice as many spins :)

Norm, i have to get you to start showing up for SCCA events. I know it's a long drive from Sacramento. Is Atwater closer to you?

Having raced 356 Porsches in the rain in the Pacific Northwest for many years I can assure you your car won't do anything in the rain that it won't do in the dry. It only does it sooner. I always prefered teaching high performance driving in the rain (or @ least on a wet track) cause you can teach, and point out, the same things, but at a lower speed.

Atwater is 8 miles north of Merced. There is a rummor that we might loose that site soon. That would be really bad.

The organizations that run the events around our area are

SFR SCCA and American Autocross Series

The scca schedule contains other clubs. Sacramento Region runs their event at San Joaquin Fairgrounds in Stocton. They start this weekend.

Yep,

Probably lifted too much off the throttle and the already light rear end got much lighter with the weight transfer. Touching the brakes then would do the same. It's a tough call when the rear end goes light. It all depends on how much road you have available at the time. As the driver, you want to keep from becoming just a passenger in your own car.

You should bring the beast down to a Car Control Clinic and scare the hell out of all the instructors.

I'll make sure you are not in my group of students! :^)

Oh yeah,

Let's talk about lights!

If you need I'll wire you up a damn toggle switch and a relay to get you going.
