I am looking to buy a brand new correct hose from my brake booster to intake manifold, and the plastic part that goes into the manifold as well as the plastiv valve that connect between the hosing before it attaches to the manifold. Basically, I ned that whole assemply as the hose on mine is worn out with the metal wiring comin out of the hose wich hurts when i grab it....

Where can I get these parts new? If the dealer, anybody have part numbers for me?

Thanx so much

Hmm, Im thinking I might get a better deal at the dealer. For example, he charged me 49 bucks for a solex rebuild kit which I can easily get for 25 bucks now I have discovered. Also, the air filter price was way high...

Besides the dealer, any place else. Also, what is the best online BMW dealer to order from?

Thanx, Lance

How about 2002Haus or Jack Fahuna's place,, both are out your way. I also bought a Solex repair kit from Carl, but 2 years ago and it was somewhere around $35. I noticed on the Wallothnesch site the Solex kits are 58 euros so they have gone up. I don't have any recommendations on a specific BMW dealer though.

Ok cool. Well, comes to be that some blow by hit the two middle spark plugs and gunked them up, thus loss of power and rugh idle. I guess my booster parts are fine as the vaccuum wasnt the problem. I have hosing which I will put on to replace the old metal splintered stuff. Thanx on the leads. Ill check those places out when I need something again.

It's always a good idea to carry a length of the re-enforced booster hose and one way valve. With me being on the east coast, I was a long time customer of Bimmer Parts Company, since 1985, they were in Pottstown, PA but were bought out a few years ago. I also bought parts now and then from Greenfield Imported Car Parts, they are in Greenfield, Mass. I've only read positives on 2002Haus and Jack Fahuna's place.
