Race Car - Route water through manifold Yes/No?

What is the best solution for routing water from the water pump? Do you still route the water from the water pump to the intake manifold (bottom) and then back from the top of the manifold? I am using a Cannon intake with a 38/38 down draft. If not then do you block off the water pump route the goes to the intake?

thanks

No reason to heat manifold. If you use heater (cabin) you need the return line to the pump so you should just bypass the manifold. If you have removed heater then you can block the line from pump and the line going into the heater at back of the head.

Yes, all guts (just cage and race seat) of car removed (heater at back of head pluged), what type of block off do you use for the water pump out that went to the bottom of the intake manifold?

I have just a short stub of hose and plug made of nylon or something there.

By the way where would you run the other hose from manifold if you have already removed heater and plugged the head outlet?

What class are you running?

For SCCA, the 38/38's not legal in the limited prep classes,

and we're all on sidedrafts in the open ones...
