Installing Crane Ing., what kind of dist. is in the 'o2?

I'm installing a Crane Ingition system into the old 'o2 and was looking at the distributor, if I'm not mistaken a '75 'o2 has a Bosh Distributor. Please confirm this and I'd love to hear anyone's experience with the Crane system and if there is anything I should watch out for.

Read Randy Molson's "How to" in the '02 FAQs. Most of what he wrote applies to the XR700 as well. I recommend paying particular attention to his method of static timing. Take your time, and carefully plan the placement of the unit. I moved mine twice, the final placement is forward of the water bottle. The wires will just reach the distributor from there. I think this is the best compromise between keeping it away from exhaust heat (I have headers) and keeping it a dry environment. It's a pretty simple install if you remove the dizzy as Randy suggests.
