Have you guys notice that 99.99% of the 2002 parts on German Ebay are trying to be passed off as being "Alpina"? If you agree, link some more examples. I bet they're are all being bought by Americans.

Norm, you have to understand automobile naming logic from a German perspective here.

In their mind, this ad is correct, because it is for 2002s and also fits Alpina 2002s, not that it's specifically an Alpina part.

Unfortunately it makes it hard to navigate the items to get to the meat of things.

Have you tried only searching for "BMW 02" ??

It sounds to me like someone is using keywords in the title. So yes, some sellers know people are searching "Alpina" but in a way it makes things easier!
