Rear subframe out and disassembled. Thanks to Paul Wegweiser for posting the list of needed tools.

looks great. i love working with clean stuff. are you going to powdercoat or paint?? i powdercoated but wonder if por 15 wouldnt have been an equal or better choice.

Blunt, remember all those black powder coated bumpers from the eighty's? Recall that after a few years the powder coat flaked off. This was due to water getting behind the powder coat and rusting the underlying metal.

I think that por 15 is better on chassie parts, because if you do get a stone chip you can touch it up with paint.

I painted with POR-15, followed with POR-15 Chassis Black, a semi-gloss black that is also supposed to be tough as nails. Should be bullet proof.

Thanks for the tip about stainless brake lines; mine had a few rust spots, so I decided to replace "since I was in there...". It may be restoration overkill, but new pre-bent ss lines are too hard to resist!

The doorseals I got from you are still waiting but the more together I try to get her, the more apart she seems to get!
