Hi,

I bought this 2002 over the summer with the intention of converting it to an autocross car with some of my buddies. Because i'm a student with very limited funds, I couldn't afford insurance. I fixed the car up a bit though. I drove it home from Sebring to Ft lauderdale (about 170miles) and it didn't miss a beat. The kid had the left rear bearing replaced and they totally destroyed the bearing housing. So I replaced the entire rear control arm and now it drives a lot smoother. I replaced the the front pads and put new rear cylinders on it. It brakes a lot better now. I also got the AC to work which i thought was really cool. We tested it at my friends shop and it's already converted to the r134a. We emptied the system though so you need to fill it up for yourself but it does blow cold.

It has bilstein shocks and Suspension Technique springs on it. There is also a 4:2:1 header on it. BBS wheels and rally fog lights are on the car. The car sits really nice. The lowering makes the car look really sweet.

Now for the body.

The car does have rust. Because the last owner let the dry rotted brake fluid reservoir leak. So the left front strut tower does have rust. I put Ospho on the car(a rust retardation and removal product). All the other strut towers are more or less perfect. The only other bad part of the car is the passenger side floor which is more or less gone. All the 4 speeds work.

I'll be willing to give a way the car for just under a 1000 dollars.

Assuming the engine runs right and the rust is limited to what you described. I'd be interested if I were anywhere near. Love verona, even faded...
