Ok, so... I have tii strut housings. About 2 degrees was bent into the housings. the front end has about 2.6 degrees of negitive camber right now. Kmac adjustable plates claim you can get a bit more than 1 degree if you grind on the plates a little before install. Will it give me slightly more than 3.6 degrees negitive camber? it seems too simple, but thats a lot of camber, just seeing if anyone has done this.

Thanks,

Morgan

What the "schnell" was that?!

That much camber would be fine for racing but way too much for street use. Your tires would wear on the inside. I would not run much more than 1 degree negative for the street.

Depending on tire construction, I have run as much as 6 degrees negative on my race car. G

For street driving you WILL wear out the inside edges pretty quick, but there is a really easy solution. Get out and autocross every chance that you can. That will scrub the outside edges of your tires, thus evening out the wear. :^)

Worked for me years ago when I ran the Bavaria control arms on my 02.

Think through this:

Use the KMACs to *reduce* camber for street driving, then max out at track events. might need to get a trackside toe kit or do it by measuring tape in case the camber change affects toe at all... anybody know if it would?? John Aho?? Bueler?? (sorry)
