bought her for $2000 almost a year ago. (I realized shortly afterward that i should have added $2 for good luck).

The po did all the exterior work.

My additions:

e46 sport seats

evo8 steering wheel

full poly bushed front/rear suspension

new tie rods, control arms, etc.

Ireland sways front and rear

big discs/calipers up front

SS brake lines

The $500 I spent on suspension bits made the car feel fabulous. Props to Ireland for the help.

Where is it/you located? East? (The trees aren't blooming yet.)

How was the E46 seat install? Might be a good "option" for my '02.

The only issue I have with BMW stock seats is the weight. Don't know how they would compare to stock '02 seats though.

but they sure are comfy!

I had to remove (tear out with an air hammer) the stock seat rails and weld in new angle iron, so there's no going back to stock.

Also, the seats weigh about double, i'd suppose. It's all the power adjustment goodness that makes em heavy.

They sit almost 2 inches lower, good for me (i'm 6'4"), but the seat height is adjustable for a shorter person.
