early chrome bumper question??

Do they sell the black rubber strip that goes across the whole front bumper? I want bumpers w/o those bumper horns. If anyone can provide pics, it will be greatly appreciated.

I do not think that was ever an option. If you want to do a custom, it may be possible to utilize the 696 rear rub strip or similar from the rear bumper for a seamless look. Good luck.

Early bumpers did not have holes for impact strips (if that is what you are talking about)...until '72. If you want to have the impact strip "sans" the overiders (or bumperets) that would not work or look very good, since the impact strip is designed to not go all the way across the front bumper, as opposed to the rear bumper (where the impact strip is solid all the way across).

Does that make any sense?
