Replica 02/911 early recaro sport seats

Not sure if anyone has seen this or not. Noticed it the other day while cruising through one of the classic car mags. This company was already replicating the fixed back style but now they are offering replicas of what was optional in our cars.

those are nice but still very expensive (at least I recall that they were back when I was lookin for seats for my early 911)

anyhow, I ended up choosing a corbeau that looks very similar and weighs in around 20 lb. so I have those in one of my early 911 and also I have one in the driver's position in my 72 2002. since I needed one seat to recline to access the rear in the 02, I used a seat from an alfa for the front pssngr. it also weighs in around 20 lb.

the corbeau seats are only $199 each WITH shipping! quailty is OK, but not great. already have some sun fade

I have a '72 911 that needs new seats.

did you have to make an adapter to bolt on the original sliders?
