Will 15x7 +12 wheels fit on a 76' with turbo fenders? Will they even fit on a 76' with stock fenders or are the turbo fenders a necessity?

planning on putting really narrow tires (like 185's) or so. Ideal for 205/50's is about ET28, these will run without flares, but you'll have to roll your fenders. Doing the simple math that makes about ET17 or so for 225/50's (but those will absolutely require flares).

ET12's would put the wheel another 5 mm (call it a 1/4") or so further outboard.

Good luck!

Correct offset is ET25-28. ET12 will stick out further. So yes they will fit with turbo flares, or maybe Alpina lip flares (Dave Pineda - dapbmw sells them). definatly not stock guards - the tyre will stick out past the guard by about 1.5" with 195/50/15 tyres. Beaner7102

So as long as I have the turbo fenders, I should have clearance for 15x7 +12 all around? What size tires should I consider looking into? Im thinking about changing up the suspension too so if you guys have spring/shock and tire size combos that you know of, let me know!!

Stock tyres were 165/80/13 = 23.4" daimeter, try and pick a size that is close to the same diameter (or a fraction smaller) for example: 195/55/15 = 23.4" dia, 205/50/15 = 23.1"dia 215/50/15 = 23.5" dia. But it also depends on what is available in your prefered tread pattern. Beaner7102

As wheel offset gets closer to zero, steering effort is actually easier assuming the same tire.

So as long as I have the Turbo fenders, and I'm running 15x7 +12 offset and 205/50/15 all around, I should have no problems with rubbing or fitment but should be ready to use some spacers?

make them fit. Putting flares on the front is really easy, it's a bit more involved to do the rears. Check the archives for some how-to articles.
