I am looking for some sheepskin seat covers for my tii. Can anyone tell me the best place to go in terms of quality/price? Not looking for cheap, but reasonable value. Many thanks!

seat covers are above average quality. My one beef is that the fit could be more exact for my e30 sport seats. Suggest you call them and confirm measurements of the seats you propose to cover.

Yes, it's a pimped out ride I have here. Original numbers matching tii, original Turkis color repainted in the original glasurit. Original interior, period correct magnesium cromordora wheels (13 inch, NOT 16 inch BS), and the list goes on. In a previous 02 I had back in the late seventies, likely before you were born, the ideal setup was to have sheepskins on the seats (the original seats NOT Recaros or other aftermarket). And, yes, this is NOT a REPLICA anything, it's an original car.

Pimp on!!

with the owners. He says, "Call Jim, Uta, or Chris. Tell them Rick Irgang sent you. Call 1-408-266-2110. A better deal will not be found!"

Lol, i get it!

Andy, i hope you didnt take this personally. Your car is beautiful. Todd was sitting on some sheepskin covered seats on our 02 Drive and found them to be very comfy :-)

Andy, what a lovely car you have. Not get me wrong I would love to own an all matching numbers Tii car. It is just when I got my car, it was all I could afford and I really can never sell it now - it was my first love.

The pimp my seats thing was a joke I had with oz_tom a while back on a 2002 run about a car I was in with sheepskin seat covers - I said it felt like I was floating on air and to lateral movement wasn't too much fun through the corners.

I personally can't stand sheep skin seat covers and if I had an immaculate 2002Tii with all original interior, nos, etc. I certainly wouldnt hide that under a big set of fluffy seat covers - that are likely to make the interior wear faster than if they were exposed like they were in '74. Each to their own I guess - maybe it is the generation gap.

You are correct about the age thing, I am 22... I am the younger generation that once all the old folk pass on, will continue the 2002 tradition on for the future generations - maybe in my hot rod 2002, or maybe in an all matching nos Turbo or both.

To quote a famous Aussie song writer "We are all in this together!" lets not let there be rifts between the "All original" and the "hot rod" owners - we are all trying to preserve a classic.

When my "hot rod" project is nearing completion I will be happy to post some pics for you to all have a look at, I trust most people will find it is within their own tastes and I have done my best to preserve the 2002 mobile tradtion with it, whilst refining the car to make it more to my tastes and suited to modern times.
