Quarter window installation

Any one have tips on the best way to re-install the rear quarter windows? I am replacing the weatherstripping and unscrewed the four screws for the metal bracket holding the window to the car plus took out the cotter pin attaching the window to the seal. For re-installation, is it easier to assemble the window and gasket with the cotter pin then install it in the car having to attach the screws or should I screw in the metal bracket first then place the window with the gasket in the bracket having the cotter pin left to attach?

Have someone hold the window from the outside and squeeze a screwdriver in the gap between the weatherstripping and the hinge and screw the quarter window into the holes from the inside of the car.
