I've asked in other posts but just can't seem to find them. I need to find the front and rear tranny seal. I've attached a couple photos and if someone could point them out I'd appreciate it tremendously. Also how do you get the bolt that holds the guibo to the tranny off? It just spins, so there must be a special tool...

The last photo I think you can see the seal right behind the guibo but need to know how to get that off.

The front seal is behind that cover with the 3 (10mm head?) bolts. The guibo actually separates from the output flange with the 4 remaining bolts there.

As I recall, to get the output flange off you have to pry out a lockplate, then use a special thin-wall (17mm?) socket to remove the bolt.

Need to usually grind down the od on the socket to get it to fit in.

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.

Okay. I have the 30MM, but it is a bit to bulky to fit in there. Also when removing the guibo do I need to replace it or can I re-use the one I have? I got the other seal replaced so thanks for the info on where it was located!

You can re-use the one you have as long as it has not begun to crack

Tip: When taking off a Guibo to reuse it, put some large radiator hose clamps together and tighten it around the diameter - like the metal band on a new one (or some heavy guage wire). As they expand a bit once removed and you will not be able to line up the bolt holes. Beaner7102
