need alternator rebuild sources / info

i just got an alternator from the j-yard for $25 bucks! i thought i could just replace the bushings and drive away, but the shaft seems to hang up in a couple spots. i cant find any rebuild kits anywhere and im not finding anything on the net. should i just nut-up the $100 for a rebuild? id like to just do this on my own. btw this is for an M20.

I have a new one with about 100 miles on it. The shop that's doing my swap has the motor out. They were suppose to have my motor sold but if not, alternator is still available. Sucks for me cause I had to put it in to drive to the shop to take my motor out!! 40.00 shipped.
