Alpina / Bilstein green dot struts

They are a full 5mm larger then the standard strut. I measured my struts

and they are a full 5mm larger (maybe 6mm) then the standard 2002 and tii struts. I measured all 3 cars tonight. 45mm on the 2002 race car (coilovers), 45mm on the tii and 50+ mm on the alpina equipped tii.

Hello Anthony, what's the valving of your struts? It should be stamped near the top below the stem. Thanks in advance

I know they stamp revalved inserts in that location, but these purpose-built parts don't show it there, AFAIK. Anthony can tell you what his show.

If the hand-written paper label is present, the valving is shown on it.

Green = same as production 150 / 80

Yellow = sport production 180 / 90

Red = 220 / 120

The diameter difference Anthony was measuring is from the larger size 36 mm Bilstein vs the P30 stock size.
