From what i understand.... you will need a large spacer to bring it down to et29ish offset. imho, its not worth it. 16's without perfect offset are too much trouble...

What width rim? 02's have a maximum back space of 4.5”, which is from the bolting surface to the edge of the rim. ie 7" rim, ET25mm (1"), 4.5” backspace. But ET40mm (1.5") would give you a 5" backspace - the rim will hit the strut before you even get it on properly. A .5" spacer would be needed to move the wheel out that .5". Hope this helps.
