seat track won't slide forward

For reasons that I won't get into, I disassembled the tracks on my driver's side Recaro, and after reinstalling them, the track nearest to the door refuses to slide all the way to the front, preventing me from bolting it to the floor board.

What went wrong? The only thing that I noticed is that one of the two cylindrical bearings came off and I pushed it in between the two sliders.

Suggestions?

Hey Robert-

I had some experience here putting the early style seats into my '71. You could have your choice of how to adjust the seat either from the side or from the front of the seat. My guess is that it has something to do with that since it's the outboard side. I can't exactly remember how I adjusted the recaros but I think it was from the side.

I got it all dissasembled and am about to get an impact driver to take to the remaining srews. CAnt have that sticking after all this. Just let me know if you want to stop by because I should be wrentching all weekend. You know I am aout to get into the lever for the little keyed plate that sticks up into that gear on the seat.
