Does anybody have a picture of their oil filter housing with a sender installed? I'm having trouble visualizing where it should be tapped. I dont see an obvious boss on my housing.

thanks

filter housing. Went thru this on my '69--no boss. The housing was slightly modified in 72 as this boss was intended for an oil line that goes to the tii injection pump. If you can't see the boss, it probably isn't there; it's already dimpled to center your drill.

Someone on the board will have a later style filter housing for you.

cheers

Ah, Yes it does. That confirms that my filter-majiggy does not have the boss.
