Had a nice day detailing the car and took some pics -- recently there had been a topic regarding some polished 100+ wheels, here are some recent pics of mine; plus a few others (:

I jus put my hand on a set of MiM wheels for $75, including 205.50.15 Advan tires. Wheels are deep dish with 12 spokes, 15 x 7 and ET25. Paint is peeling and will be stripping and polishing them.

They look like Alpinas but witth a deep dish. Will post pictures today. spring is coming.

100+ is just the brand.

I used Aircraft Remover to strip the paint out of them (the entire inside is typically painted black on these) and then took a dremel with the wire brush and cleaned up the inner little front areas. Then for the face, dish and lip i started with 400 grit waterproof sandpaper and worked my way up to 2000 grit. After than I took some 0000 steel wool to it and finished up with a bit of metal polish. I would estimate it at around maybe 4 hours per wheel or so.

I wish mine were 15x7! Oh well I guess, but I would definately like to see pics of the wheels you're picking up, it sounds like you got an awesome deal -- especially if the tires aren't trash. A friend of mine with an e36 who was polishing up the stock m3 lightweight wheels had a stroke a genius/insanity -- he had the tires dismounted and then jacked the rear of the car up, put it in great and let it idle -- then polished the lip of the rim with the wheel spinning on the car. I however did mine by hand and achieved very similar results, thought my arms were very tired.

The wheels are "Octavo 100+".

My best guess is:

"Octavo" is the manufacturer and "100+" is the model.

Kinda like "BWA Sportstar" or "American Racing Libre".

I have set of those that need some work. Any takers?
