Those running rabbit washer pumps...

I can't get mine to squirt. Any tips? I got the pump working and its getting fluid but it won't actually put any to the lines to the squirters. I've switched the hoses. Its almost like it has vapor lock or hydrolock or something.

drives the pump with a fork and blade arrangement--metal on early ones, plastic on later ones. If either the fork or blade is broken, the motor will spin like crazy and the pump won't do a thing. Pull the pump housing off the motor housing and check--it's pretty self-evident how it's supposed to work when you get it apart, and fixing is easy unless the fork on one end is broken or rusted off--then you'll have to silver solder another one on.

It fell apart in my hands after I too it out. The rabbit pump is a complete replacement of unit with two barbs and a little spinny shaft.

pump--not just the motor?...and you're sure you have the inlet and outlet hoses hooked up correctly as well as the + and - wires to the motor?

If all that checks out, then it should work....
