ok, gettin the car close to driveablity, but having an issue with the blinkers. had one flasher relay that would blink twice then stop, so I snagged the one out of my parts car and it flashes really fast, any help would be welcome, thanks in advance

I believe they ground where the screws hold the fixtures to the body.

You might also check the bulbs. A faster than normal flasher also indicates a bad bulb.

bulb doesn't or only blinks a couple of times, it's the smaller of the two sets of points inside the flasher unit. Remove the flasher's cover and observe the two sets of points with the turn signals on: the set of points that only opens and closes once or twice is the culprit. Bend the moving arm just a little 'till it works consistently, reinstall the cover and you're done.
