engine and drivetrain Money down on an S14!

Put a deposit down on an s14 today. The seller dropped his price a little and called me back rather than sell to another guy. Never underestimate spite as a reason for selling.

I'll take delivery in a few weeks,once the owner has his new engine sorted. Gives me a chance to drive my car until rego runs out, get the extra cash together, and sort out a few niggling questions.

I'm sure I'll be back asking lots of questions, so be prepared!

yeah Todd, it is the one you linked me too, but I won't take posession of it for a few weeks. Gives all the parties time to get things organised.

As for the price, it was less than its listed for on ECCA. He came down and I went up.

Todd, its one of those things, he's waiting for his new motor, and I'm waiting for my rego to expire. Neither of us are in a great hurry. I'll help him pull the motor, and he'll help me with all the parts I need.

To put it into perspective, he has a number of very nice quick cars, one or two of I would forego certain apendages for. But best of all he's a nice guy, we have the same mechanic who is technically awesome and a nice guy to boot, and whom I would recommend to any and all.

p.s If this doesn't make sense, sorry, Skip's been at the fermented eucalypt honey again.
