I have some 320i recaro seats that I want to put in my car. Currently I have racing seats, and the drivers side is mounted on a Recaro sliding bracket. I removed the seat and tried to put the 320i recaro in and found that the bracket was about 1/2" or so too wide! So is there no purchasable bracket out there for these seats, and do I have to do some cutting and welding???

From Keiths site it looked like a straight up bolt in......

Thanks for the help,

Bryan

yeah Karl is right, unfortunately...I love the Recaro brackets. I have a pristine set sitting around now!...but the switch is well worth the upgrade from stock '02 seats. I'm still looking for a pair of Navy Recaros out of an E21....hard to find Navy!

release lever on the slider itself, the combination you need is the E21 seat, E21 Recaro bracket and '02 slider.

Assume the same holds true for later cars with the slider release on the seat bracket, but having never installed E21 Recaros in a later car I can't say for sure...........
