Headlamp wipers for an 02? Any pics? Were they an option

Indeed - the wipers for the headlights WERE a real factory 2002 option (at least on the plastic grille cars). Maximillian Importing got their START about 17 years ago - importing these kits. Also among the first parts Max brought over were real green FUNCTIONING console push switches - used for fog light operation on the pre 74 cars. Pretty neat stuff! Very rare indeed these days.

Yes, headlamp washer/wipers were a special accessory for 2002s. I bought a set back in 1988 (wipers, motors, larger washer bottle, dual pumps). If you look on the plastic grilles you can see where the openings for the wiper motor shaft go through the grille.

those switches were available many YEARS AGO I doubt BMW has remade 'em. They've been NLA for well over a dedcade. I think I sold the last one in 1989 or so....probably to that nutjob Sherman! (...and he may quite possibly be among the most scholarly and truest 02ers I've ever met.....ever!) Glad to see you're still out there Mr Martinez!

I thought those green fog light switches were still out there?

I was given a new in box one recently, I have another one with the typical popping out problem, and a third I snagged out of a parts car.
