i can get as many people possible to put pressure on the 3 locking places of the hood and pull the little lever to lock it and yet i think one side does one doesnt but it still looks as if it is not locked and is driving me nuts!!

im 20, the 2002 is the most fun car ive ever driven. i have a 74 malaga 2002. engine was rebuilt: bored out to a 2.1, litghtweight pistons, shrick cam, dual weber 40's, msd, custom exhaust. 3.91 lsd, h&r lowering springs. bilstein sport

that the lock bar engages. That piece is secured by two 10mm screws. Loosen them and slide that piece one way or the other and try it. It is couterintuitive which way you slide it to get it adjusted.
