Just wanted to say thank you from us for the great time. The Rally was absolutely fenomenal were we met old frinds and some new new ones with very cool cars. I jmust to say that the organization for the Inagural Shamrock Rally was outstanding. We also must thank the Rally Gods for giving us a sunny day.

Thank you a lot!

Regards

You are most welcome. It was a labour of love!

My only regret is that we had to cap the event at so few cars and not invite ALL of our 2002 friends. As it was we ended up with half of the cars being BMWs.

At the water crossing it was funny to watch 4wd SUVs just creep thru the water, then most of our group comes through and speeds up for the splash. Michael Ofiesh enjoyed it so much that he turned around just so he could do it again.

So far the winner of the biggest splash award is held by Evan C in his 02. (results may change as I get fim developed).

you had a narrow window to press that shutter, and it came out perfect! Like they say; 99% of good photography is to know when to push that button!

Thank you all for the kind words for the pic. That was my wife running the digital. Canon easy shot 5meg whatever model camera.

I was positioned just behind her for a more straight on shot with the regular film 35mm. I shot mine in portrait format and am eager to see how they turned out. The shots should be able to be cropped down to isolate the action, but we were trying to capture the whole scene with the hills, the trees, the blue skies, the puffy clouds, the winding road, and yes, the splash!
