Not my car... usual disclaimers apply.

'68 2002 VIN 1662517 - Body is a basket case but could have some worthwhile parts for the right person. Price is probably very close to FREE. Property owner wants it gone NOW. She will have it hauled off next week, so if you have any interest shoot me an email and I can get you in contact with the owner. Its not my car but I'd be happy to help it find a new home. Car is located in Yellow Springs, OH.

Hopefully somebody will get some parts from this one before it goes to the crusher.

Man, if anyone grabs this poor old thing, I would *love* to have the front bumper and brackets... And if it were a little closer to OK, I'd probably already be on my way ;-)

Seriously, though... If there's a way to grab that bumper, (and if it's not all rusted out underneath) please drop me a line.

I'm sure Mike needs a parts car for his 69 2002 (Wolfgang) restoration and besides, it's close to home.

I wonder how much those bumpers would cost to ship? Those'd look pretty nice on my baby.

How's them floorboards on that thing? J/K

I didn't check to see if the back of the bumpers are rusty. The front bumper looked ok but showed some signs of light rust. The back bumper showed signs of being dented in the past and straightened. From my brief look at the car, I would say the following items are potentially usable: L & R grills, front bumper, rear bumper ends and overriders, glass (except windshield due to pitting), engine, wheels and some misc trim bits here and there. I didn't look under the car, so I can't comment on the suspension or subframes.

car with rubber bumper inserts--you can just barely see the oval slots for the insert clips.

Thanks for the suggestion, Gordon, but Wolfgang is all completed--I finished him (as much as you ever finish "redoing" a car) about five years ago. But I always like to scrounge parts!

cheers
