Anybody using a spin-on type fuel filter? I'm thinking about installing one on my M2 project. I is probably over kill, but they will filter a lot of fuel without much drop in pressure. Anybody with pic's? Comments?

Phil,

have you seen these from Pure Power? They look like they are the bomb (pun intended)

Helps you find the metal particles without cutting up the filter to find them.

Featured in this month's HotRod Mag.

The tests they ran show it found the fuzz that came off paper element oil filters that were moving around in the block.

And they are $200. Filter down to 5 Micron,

Just for oil of course, but that would seem like a good investment in a street or racing engine.

A lot of money, but if you are going to sell your car, you can always take this part with you and put it on another engine or car you have.
