I'm replacing my worn out engine with an engine that ran when pulled. The engine I'm swapping with has sat for 2 years in a garage. THe valve cover has been off of it so there is some debris in the cyl. head but not much. I'm going to take the cyl. head off to clean it out, unless there is another method to do this with out removal. Should I replace all the gaskets on the engine before putting it in the car? I have another valve cover so I only need to get head bolts for this.

While its out id replace every gasket and seal possible. nothing worse than going thru all that work and having a leaking pile. im not familar with the sets you speak of so i cant answer that but again, id get all the seals and do it once
