metric mechanic 38/38 setup

have heard a lot about metric mechanic stuff...mostly good. is their 38/38 manifold different than a peanuted intake monifold with a standard 38/38. excuse my ignorance, but for that price i would expect something special

I suspect Metric Mech ports the opening sufficiently to fit the carb's larger throttle plates. Having done this on other manifolds myself - it IS time consuming. I don't think even a standard "peanut" manifoild is quite large enough to allow full opening of the throttles.

BTW - you're gonna LOVE the 38/38!
