I've got 103,000 miles on my '72 tii which I believe is pretty low for a 34 year old car. I doubt it's the lowest though...I think I remember seeing one for sale a couple years back with ony 30,000 original and documented miles on it.

that had around 9k miles on it...believe it was anthracite. Also, Scott and Fran Hughes have a Manila '67 1600 that's a 16k original time capsule--everything but tires and battery are just what came from the factory...

i have one with 1300 one with 1800 and one with 328. thats after they got "done".

There's a 70 Atlantic 2002 here in Eugene with less than 20k on it. Still smells like a new 2002, believe it or not. Sweet to look at.[/img]

that the vin plate is so faded.

No intent to nit-pick, but at least from the photos, the underhood condition appears to be very decent, so having the plate faded to that degree doesn't make sense. By way of comparison, the general condition of the underhood mechanical components & original engine compartment paint (Chamonix) on my 200k '69 is similar, but the paint on the vin plate is consistant with everything else - clear and still very black.

As cool as a low mileage example is, it would drive me NUTTS to have such a fun *drivers* car and not drive it.... So I feel sorry for whoever actually has a low miles car, cause they are either painfully putting on miles on a low miles car by driving it, or painfully nut driving it cause they don't want to put miles on it.

These cars were meant to be drivin, so I DRIVE it =)
