2002 and E21 (Neu Klasse, E12, and early E30, too, if I remember correctly) - not sure about the spacing between the back of the steering wheel hub and the top of the column mast; could also be issues with getting the horn contacts to line up depending on which wheel one is attempting to use on which chassis.

Yes, have stock 1970 02 wheel that I have put on my 2800 to see how it looks. Same spline, didn't try to hook up the horn though

wheels they used on early coupes, it'll fit just fine--I used one for several years. You'll have to re-work the horn contacts--the coupes had the ring on the steering wheel and the contact on the steering column, but you only need remove the ring from the coupe wheel and install the contact into the already existing hole in the wheel. Easy to do. But it's still a bus wheel! A pretty bus wheel, but a bus wheel nonetheless...

The 70 02 wheel I have is 16" and has the leather instead of the wood. They made about 10 different styles of that same wheel. Either leather, wood or plastic wheel. Some spokes had holes some didn't--some were chrome others not. I gave up trying to figure out which model was in which car or year.
