When I had mine shortened for the 5-speed, they cut out the 'non-servicable' u-joints and replaced them with ones that are for a Datsun 240Z. Now they are replacable and greasable as well. I do not know of anyone who has rebuilt their own drive shaft.

Good Luck,

If you need a rebuilt driveshaft for a 4 speed transmission I have one that is rebuilt using the serviceable u-joints (grease fittings and replaceable). The center support bearing was also replaced. Let me know if you are interested.
