WHO knows the real scoop on the new door brakes

i ordered a set for my car because i heard they were redesigned and checking the part number its been superceeded with a new number. so i order up a set and the old model comes in. i sent them back and id like to order the right ones that bolt in and work properly without modifications and spacers or whatever else some guys were doing with 5 series mounts or whatever. anyone have a definate part number that will get me what i need???

Blunt man .. after all these months i'm this fricking close to installing that tii engine you sent. Just need a few days off with no rain to get things sorted in the blu demon then its try to start it time. It sure cleaned up nice!

Welcome to my world. You order the correct new part number but someone in the warehouse at BMW has put the wrong ones in with the correct ones in the same bin. We had to order in a prepack box of 20 just to get the correct ones. Just keep ordering and it will come in with luck. Or email me and we can send you a set of the correct ones.

I read or heard somewhere that there were some rear door brakes from a 5 series that worked in our cars without modification. Anyone heard the same and can remember which fiver it was?

i heard the same and ive searched till i wanted to slit my throat. ive found several people praising a certain 5 series rear brake and then in the same post a few others saying you need spacers or some shit. its frustrating and i just want a concrete answer. i will keep ordering these door brakes till i get the right ones and when i do ill let you know

YES thats the thread i was referring to. someone else claims you need spacers. i just want a bolt in solution without dicking around. i hate wheel spacers and spacers in general

i would love a set of rimspokes brakes but he makes it so damn difficult to buy his stuff.

i wish hed make up a batch and offer them to us at a fixed price. i have no problem paying for quality.

ebay is one thing but i think we should take care of each other on the FAQ
