i have a bmw 2002 from 1972 and whant to know if i can fit a twin carb on it and if so which one.

BUT, the biggetr the carb - Generally - the less smooth you'll be around town. We call that "drivability" issues.

the 32/36 with CDs special prescription applied, is good for stock or only mildly modified set-ups.

2 bbl downdraft...bolts onto your late 72 or later 2 bbl manifold with minimum fiddling, gets good gas mileage (better than the 38/38 Weber) and is much smoother running then the OEM Solex 2 bbl.

You can always go with one or two sidedraft Webers or Solexes, but you won't get a lot of extra performance from them with a stock engine. You really need higher compression pistons, a hotter cam etc...

Go for the 32-36 Weber...

also in the manifold pic, the metel pieces between each cylinder runner looks like the metal has been cut out. Why is that? Just for looks?
