I need to replace my vacuum module. The screw on back is difficult to get.

Will I be able to mark the position of the distributor, then rotate it clockwise by, say, 90 degrees?

Thanks

How about one of those "offset" screwdriver's Mike? has the bend at each end, shaped liked an "s.", or as Napes mentioned, you should be able to rotate it enough to better access the screw.

You can rotate the distributor a full 360 degrees. The key is to set the engine to TDC on the #1 cylinder (see Owner's Handbook under valve adjustment). Then see how the rotor and the mark on the distributor housing line up. As long as you maintain the relationship between the rotor and mark on the distributor housing, you can set the distributor back into the engine at any rotation you prefer.
