on 74-76 models can be installed "upside down"? My "under bumper" fog lamps got smashed so I would like to consider installing the round fog lamps that rest on the upper side of the bumper. I would like to use the already drilled holes on the bottom side for the new ones.

Thanks for any leads.

I have mine off right now and it appears that you could flip them. You will want to clean or polish the side that has been facing down all these years.

Luis Carlos, the guy who bought my Mintgrun, took them but I believe he is not going to use them. I can ask him if you want it.

The only thing is that they are polished and require frequent care to keep them shiny. But you are good at that!

I don't think it's all that bad to get some decent shine out of it.

I'll let you know.

BTW: I ordered a pair of Hella 6.5" round fog lamps today to mount on the bumper. Once I install them my car should look a little more like Ludwig! ;-).

Did you return to work?

I'm back at the office today.

At least i was able to install the rear bumper on mine. Have the front one almost done, but still need to get some bumper guards and maybe send a couple of parts to the chrome shop.

See you soon,
