Seats- Recaros from a 1984 635M

I'm looking at a complete set of sport seats that came out of a 1984 635M Euro. Manual Recaros, rears and center console. I know the rear can work. The front mounting dimensions are 17.75 wide hole to hole and 12.25 front to back. I know I'll need some adapters. Is there any other reason why I wouldnt be able to get these in my '76 02?? Thanks

anything can be done.... just takes time & money. I'd be interested in some photos though because those seats sound cool & cumfy

The front seats are similar to the E30 sport seats mentioned in the FAQ seat guide, although the distances between the mount holes are different.

To use them, you will have to cut the existing seat mount towers out of your car and reinforce the floor where you bolt in the later seats.
