engine and drivetrain Help. I need a part number ???

Anyone have the BMW part number for the earlier model automatic transmission speedometer cable? This is the one piece cable that is used when doing a five speed conversion, not the later model two piece "smog" car cables. TIA. TC

it's not listed on realoem dot com. I'd try calling a dealer.

Local BMW dealer listed it as 62-12-1-351-720 @ $72.00 before BMWCCA discount of 10% + sales tax . . 43 in inventory in BMW-USA warehouses w/ 2 to 3 day delivery. As additional info. Bavarian Autosport doesn't list that part number on their web site but a phone call and providing them with the part number yeilded a "special order" item @ $54.95 with two week lead time. Thanks for the suggestion.

don't know that part number either or what the guys use. would be interested though because i've almost got all the parts together myself.

21-52-1-153-512 is the part number for the e28 535i slave to master cylinder hose. This is supposed to be the correct length and have the correct threaded fittings to connect from 2002 clutch master cylinder and 320i slave cylinder. I just ordered miscellaneouse parts today from Bavarian Autosport. They matched Autohaus AZ's hydraulic hose price of $30.13 vs. their price of $39.95. Ireland Engineering also has a hydraulic hose that is correct length and has correct fittings for 5 speed conversion. The IE hose has braided stainless steel sheath - $30 + S&H.
