Paul has the right answer if you want to own a 320. If you are looking for parts that will swap into a 2002 then I'd do a similar search here.

Did you go to "www.auto.groups.yahoo.com/group/BMW_E21_Digest?" This message board can be helpful. There are other places too, such as one called "Tricord." The E21 320i cars varied between Euro and the USA cars, as well as the early (through model year 1979 - or August 1978 production USA cars) vs. late (model year 1980 - production from Sept 1979 - through model year 1983 USA cars).

HP: early cars were rated at 110 for USA cars and 125 HP for the Euro version (introduced in '75), and late USA cars w/ their 1.8 liter engines were 101 HP (Euro E21s changed drastically from their USA counterparts beginning in '78 when two different six-cylinder E21s were introduced and a 1.6 liter four was offered).

USA E21 Weight: approx. 2600 lbs for an early USA 320i with a full tank of gas (at least my car's weight), and later models (80-83) were slightly lighter. - Larry ('78 320i)
