Victorian/ Australian 02 Drive!!! - Invitation

G'day guys,

The date for the drive will probably be the 13th of March (Labour Day). Discussions have been taking place and so far the plan will be to meet up somewhere in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We will then drive through the Yarra Ranges on a still to be decided route stopping for lunch at a pub along the way and have a couple of photo opportunities where drivers can admire the photographic skills of Todd (TMK) and hopefully see his practically new 02!

All drivers are welcome to attend whether they are from Victoria or inerstate. This drive is not affilliated with the BMW club (though there will be a few club members attending) but rather a chance for 02ers to get together and have a chat and a drive in one of Victorias best motoring areas.

For any Australian Lurkers out there please feel free to come, as the saying goes "the more, the merrier".

Meetup spot will probably be at either Healsville or Glenburn at 10 o clock on the 13th of March. If it starts at Healsville we will head up to Glenburn for our first stop (lunch), through Toolangi. From Glenburn up Break O Day Road where we will have a photo oportunity then onto Flowerdale for refreshments or what have you. We will then head to Kinglake for our final stop and chat / refreshments. From Kinglake people can make their own way home though i image most of us will take take the kinglake st andrews road!

I will hopefully be able to do the run this comming weekend to finalise the route. I am favouring the start at Healsville route...

Stuart Garmey has been notified the run is taking place and is interested in coming pending his house moving.

Todd, he is also looking into the website situation which is excellent!

I have a rough idea but Doug has put a message out to BMWCCV 02 club members so depending on how many club members come...

With just the list i made i have 9 people on it not including other club members that i dont know. Dont forget there was 12 02's at the Show and Shine so we might gett a fair few!

Also, everyone who comes along gets a free 02 Register sticker to plonk where ever they see fit and i will be giving away a 2006, 02 Calendar.... how i give it away i dont know yet!

No hurry, I was just told by the panel shop there is no way I will have my car back by next Weekend. :-( Damn it... I will have to come along and ride shot gun with someone.
